Ayia Napa is a good holiday destination?

My daughter is 17 and is walking away with seven friends in late August to Cyprus. They will be out the center of Ayia Napa. Good night life? " Will it be safe for them? Any tips about going on holiday would be appreciated. They are going for a week and they stay in a villa houses so you have to buy all the food, etc. How much money do you recommend that everyone take with them? They are hoping it is not very expensive – everything you save? Thank you. And do they need to identify the clubs?

Napa is extremely safe, and is a great place for a holiday. If they are housed in self-catering accommodation, so I recommend that you take a bus to Paralimni (buses are regular, and fairly inexpensive one ….. will point them in the right direction, shop and go to a major supermarket, Carrefour, or Kokkinos much …. cheaper than shopping in supermarkets in the resorts. Beware, however, Cyprus is not cheap, since moving to the Euro, life here has become very expensive ….. you have to remember we are an island, so most things have to be imported and then dustributed, which naturally increases the cost. Most fresh food that is relatively cheap …… so you can put a meal together quite cheaply. You must remember that although we have many GM foods and, therefore, nuts and other stuff only lasts a couple of days! Yes, they may need to identify some of the clubs. Like I said before, Cyprus is a very safe place, and how they are going like a fairly large group, which again is in your favor. Napa has a wide selection of bars, restaurants and clubs, and also has some beautiful beaches; Nisis Beach, Beach Makronnisoss …. all …. Napa good and also has the largest water parks in Europe! may also be worth getting a bus and visit Protaras, only a short drive away ….. once again, a great selection of bars and restaurants and some great beaches. August can be very busy here, but as the majority of Cypriots take the month off for holidays to avoid the heat! I'm sure they will have a great time! Another tip, bring a small amount Euros with you …. and then change the rest of your money when you get here ….. you'll get a much better exchange rate.
