My best friend and I are planning a trip girl's Napa Valley. Any suggestions?
Anyone have any suggestions for hotels, restaurants Wine Tours? We want to stay in a nice safe place for less than $ 200 … is this even possible? In addition, we recommend some nice restaurant hip / bars or other fun activities.
I stayed at the Silverado Ranch, which was quite nice (I've heard condos "are better – not we stayed in a condominium). It was not surprising, but it was cheaper than many other options – Napa can be spendy. This is the only place I've stayed because live in San Francisco. As for restaurants, my favorite is called "Ad Hoc in Yountville. Been there four times now. It is one of Thomas Kellers, and it is absolutely incredible. It's a different menu every day, but the food is always great. If you're there on a Monday than with an alternative to fried chicken BBQ – I've tried and loved so much. It's $ 49 for a menu of four dishes of food prepared to perfection, and I consider it a big deal for the size and quantity as you can. Also in Yountville, I went to a couple of times Bouchon – French Bistro restaurant Keller. Also fabulous. I recommend the Steak Frites. Anywhere you will want to call ahead for reservations to be on the safe side. I went to some other places in Napa, but none of them (which I have) even compare:) There are many wonderful restaurants area, of course! I * really * want to go to Mustards Grill soon as well (http://www.mustardsgrill.com/) and Bottega. Enjoy your visit!
